  • Julio Cesar happy to still be at Queens Park Rangers

"I didn't think in any moment about leaving QPR," Cesar, who made 26 appearances last season, was quoted by Globo Esporte at a press conference.

"Of course, if anything came up, as it happened, it was something to sit down and talk about with the club's chairman.

"But, in my head, things have gone back to normal.

"I don't think I'll have to do anything different due to the fact I am in the Championship. It's a strong competition in England with competitive teams.

"We play 46 games, eight more games than in the Premier League."

Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Julio Cesar is adamant he did not consider leaving Loftus Road during the transfer window and says things have gone back to normal.

    Well, well, well...

To have the brazil number one getting splinters in the championship is ridiculous

It would be very unfair to drop Green now, he has earned his number 1 spot imo.

It is unreal to think that a keeper with the pedigree of Cesar is at a championship club but he is here and whether he plays or not he is a QPR player and we should support and if he should play back and support him. We seem to have a great spirit on the pitch lets make sure we have the same off it as well. If Green were to get injured not a bad keeper to have on the bench.

If he's getting no game time he'll probably leave in the winter transfer window.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Funny Cesar was the one player most of us thought wouldn't have a problem getting another club. I wonder if Harry and Tony are now wishing they'd made more of a compromise with Napoli or Arsenal. For me its just inconceivable having him and Green at the club together and always has beeen. I really hope Harry sticks by Green we must not forget he was one of the first guys to come out and commit to playing for us in the Championship its taken the closing of the window for Julio to do the same.
