Board has done a good job getting rid of the rubbish and i am hopeful that TF may have learned a lesson or two. I am giving him the benefit of the doubt at the moment and i am excited by Harry's team that he has built for this season. Still not keen on moving from our home and if there is a sniff of renaming or rebranding the team or bringing players in again for marketing purposes then i am back in the anti TF gang. He has also been a lot quieter on twitter lately regarding QPR and his plans which is a lot more professionall so all in all i reckon he has taken some criticism on board and learned some lessons. Hope it continues.
almost couldn't recognise you because I tend to look at people's avatar first then their comments.
Kirill seems to think we should ban people more often.
Well Vblock has definitely earned a ban here IMHO.
Witnessing such mellowing is utterly frustrating.
After all, children read this forum,
what kind of an example is he setting?
I think it should be a permanent ban this time.
Noticed that you have changed your avatar from the 'Fail Tony' one
Am i to believe that you have now seen the light, and do now actually like/trust the man..
Not a pop, just curious as you were so anti TF previous
Don't worry Skranger ,it will all be back on again when/if there's an announcement ,that we have to move to the Frankie and Benny's stadium
on some retail park.
It does seem as though he's turned over a new leaf. I've even found myself agreeing with him on a lot of things of late.
I don't really think he's turned a new leaf more sick of the same questions.
Although I am actually a big Tony fan, who has backed all managers 110% which no one can really question, I wouldn't knock V block for having his own opinion and if he blames Tony for quite a thing issues then that is fair enough.
Also I like the fact that he has his own opinion which is a pretty rare trait on this board, I can think of w12ranger and very few more that speak from the heart.
People ask whether he has changed his opinion but that doesn't happen over night.
He also made a comment regarding Hughes not being a bad manager and although it clearly didn't work at QPR, he might well do something for Stoke. For me I felt he spent tony's money very poorly and only bought 1 decent player in Holliet and wasted most of the money. He did keep us up the 1st year and not too many called for him to be sacked. V block has clearly stated that in a way, he felt Hughes had a difficult job with an owner that was making clumsy decisions. Again not an opinion I agree with but he is entitled to his opinion and I think it's quite sad that he seems like Kirill said... forced to follow the party line.
The battle lines of those who still dare take a harsh stand on TF are thinning out much faster than my hair. Vblock ... et tu, Brutus.
Surely it is HR who is sorting the team out NOT TF ...........
As Vespa so wisely put it, get ya tin hats ready for when we move to the 40k seater Entertainment arena on the Frankie & Benny retail park and he wants us playing in Red and called London United FC and starts moving games to a Sunday cause the council will only give permission for open air concerts to be held on a Saturday ........
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%? For us that would mean around 29k."
