£4 or £5mil for a player who is not going to play at the club again would not be a bad deal. If we had sold him after the promotion season for £10m we would only have got £6m and at the time nobody knew how he was going to perform in the Premiership.

I will miss the tricks, but I'd rather 3 points more often.
The other day I saw someone write disapprovingly that Taarabt hit the Fulham badge after scoring for them. So what? They pay their wages, the fans are cheering him on, why shouldn't he? At least he didn't kiss it, and he has kissed our badge before.
Adel Taarabt will always have a special place in my heart, I will never forget what he did for us, and if he doesn't come back, I will always be saddened that he didn't reach the heights he should have with us due to mismanagement.

He tore up the Championship but failed miserably in the PL (like he did at Spurs) aside from one or two cameo's. That isn't a £5m player, let alone a £10m player without factoring in his infamous laissez faire attitude to things like actual training and turning up on time and eating correctly.
We'd be lucky to see the top end of £2m including add ons. And I'd snap the hand off anyone offering that.Meet me by the railway tracks

You might not like our player Adel Taarabt, but at least be honest about your criticisms of him.
Anyway, I can guarantee you, if we offered Taarabt for 2 million, there will be a whole host of clubs lining up to sign him. Let me guess, you're one of those who thinks Joe Allen at 15m is better than a 2m Tarbs?
