It didn't help after 11 when they said on Sky Sports that as long as the relevant paperwork had been done, with wages offered etc that deals could still go through.
Stayed up till 1am in the end just hoping that we didn't lose anyone.

yeh, it was an education...apparently if you get a form of intent by 11 youre good to carry on...at 12 you need to get another form in to fifa and then
you can carry on negotiating....its a fuzzy deadline
