Can Rowlands and Watson Play In The Same team?

Wagga whatever your name is my point to the post if you could pay attention and not type your reply while still trying to read mine is that you want to pick Rowlands because he is the best captain we have. Let please judge a player on ability. Don't get me wrong Rowlands have been a good player for the rangers but he is NOT good enough to get into our midfield with our current improved midfield. Last season he was 1 of the 1st of the team sheet. I think Connelly personally should be given the arm band but I also believe watson can grab the game by the scruff of the neck and has more ability than rowlands. I was referring to him being captain if we sign him permanent in jan. So Connelly should be given the arm band and played central defence. Also you need creative flair players like Buzz in the side as they are match winners. So Rowlands is just not good enough but lets agree to disagree, before any smartarse comments.

When Rowly time is up as captain look no further than Connolly as his replacement, assuming he hasn't be sold.

I'm not disagreeing, but Fualrin plays 1 full game at home and already fans are putting him ahead of Rowlands.

If Rowlands was number one player on the team sheet last season, he cannot suddenly drop out of the top 11.

They could easily be the centre midfield pairing and you could play Faurlin or Buzz on left of midfield.

Last season we didn't have Buzz for most of it and we didn't have Fraulin and Watson so yes he can quite easily drop out of the team. It is only 2 possibly 3 place that they are fighting for. If it is 3 then it should be watson Fraulin and Buzz playing infront of them. ffs we finally have creative players and you want to drop them? It wasn't all just because of a lack of decent strikers. Some games last season we created f all and that won't be the case with those 3 playing. Rowlands loves to pass sideways to often for my liking surely you can see it making sense?????

To be honest its not my preferred midfield pairing, but its definitely in my opinion, the second best.

Saying they cannot play together is OTT. Of course they can.

Of course they can but as you say why not start our no 1 pairing.
If we don't start playing Buzz then that is as bad as dropping connelly.
Jim needs to learn his best team. I feel at this moment he hasn't got a clue. Gorkks and connelly need to start playing together and building a great defensive partnership. It is obvious they complement each other. Rowlands isn't a bad player but we do have better!

How can Rowlands not be a potential match winner? How about his winning goal against Wolves or his winning goal against Norwich last season. We signed Rowlands as a right back winger so there is no doubt that he has the game to play the defensive role in the centre pairing. Watson and Rowlands could and should start IMO.

Agree, add to that a back three with Legsofwood in front of them and you would have a top 6 team.
