Spot on Chris and quite agree!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Watson & Rowlands = CCC version of Lampard and Stevie G. Can work but one of them (Benny) would need to be given a free role and this wouldn't work with Adel playing as well.

So for be Rowly warms the bench

Not a problem. I just think Rowlands and Watson could be our Barry and Lampard. Both are box to box type both can and would have to defend and both have the leadership and are level headed to defend a lead and to not panic when losing.

I am sorry but for me you can't find a place in the side for rowlands and leave out Buzz. The whole problem with last season was lack of chances. Buzz has more vision than Rowly IMHO and for me he should be in the starting 11. I don't think Fraulin has done much wrong to be dropped. I think Rowlands was very average before he got injured against Blackpool and he just wouldn't get in my starting 11 with this current crop of midfielders

How lovely it is to have a selection headache. The manager has so many good options that he only has himself to blame if he can't pick the result side for the right occassion.

:very_sad:Well for me it is a good thing that Hall is injured. It might give him time to realise that Gorrks and Connelly are a very good denfensive partnership. My worrys is that Jim doesn't know a quality player even if it ends up biting him on the ####! I will probably see stewart playing on sat after this

                Yes they can
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

You're probably right. Magilton has to pick his starting XI and run with it for 4-5 matches in a row. No more chopping and changing for the sake of it. Allow players to get a real run of form or prove themselves surplus to requirements. He has had 7 competitive plus 6 pre season matches to work out who is worth sticking with and who has to be shipped out.

And my answer is yes they can.

Faurlin is a great signing and i didn't say i would drop him....
For me it would be Faurlin and Watson in the middle together :boss:

                          In the same team?......Yes absolutely!

Don't fancy them as a central midfield partnership in a 4-4-2 formation though.

How can people say no when we haven't seen Watson in a Rangers shirt yet and we haven't seen them play together? i think it's most likely yes, but we will see :boss:

                              He will play 4-3-3.

                              Watson----Rowlands-----Faurlin/Buszaky

                              Routledge----Simpson-----Taraabt/Vine
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

is the most sensible post on this thread.

Im amazed everyone has just accepted Watson is going to be the bees knees.

I hope he will be, but footballs a funny game.

Im still quite excited to see how Rowlands and Faurlin do, given the chance.
