Well down the pecking order now. Behind Joey, Henry, Carroll and Nico for one of the two central midfield spots. Maybe in front of Jenas. And behind Joey, O'Neil, Holliett, Phillips and SWP for a place on the flanks too.

one of his biggest fans, but has he recovered from that injury? his form suggests he may never get back to his peakI must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

I like Faurlin and watching him play is a pleasure. He may not be at his best yet, however, he is improving all the time. Its a fact that he may find it more difficult to get in the team with our latest recruits. However, we need a big and good squad to keep the momentum going and it looks like we have one. Well done to HR and Tony and his board. It seems quite clear now that lessons were learned from last season. Personally, I think we have a good base for a solid Premier team, fingers cross that we go up.

People very often blinded by the last few games someone has played. The less regularly someone plays (and Faurlin has been in and out of the side for a year now) the more skewed perceptions of their ability will become. This works both ways of course - look at the ludicrous Tom Hitchcock worshipping after 8 minutes and one tap in.
