So strange how we are now the most shrewd club in the country in the transfer market, getting superb players for free or next to nothing, but we let the only striker we have who scores, go to sign for another club, when we didn't even have a proper target, that not even the press knew about or can be mentioned after the failure to capture him. So how close could we have been to anybody? Very very strange.

Luckily for us our board/ manager has done an excellent job in turning the club around with the right players and turfed out the rotten apples that could have sent us in Portsmouths directionSupporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Am aware of certain players basic earnings at certain clubs and its fair to say that Palace are not the greatest payers ........Still good money to you ( i guess) and me ( definitely)
I think the term is that they ' cut their cloth accordingly ' wheras last couple of yeas we've been paying champagne wages on lemonade ability/comittment .

Hopefully, ALL parties will be happy in 9 months time.
We get promoted on the back of some valuable goals and assists from AJ in the last year of his contract.
Palarse get their man on a free, to do the same again. Saving a fee.
AJ gets to go 'home' & another 3 years employment.
It does suggest, if Palarse 'cut their cloth accordingly', that he's not on Champagne wages with us. Which is good.

Whist i don't know what he earns at Rangers ( i guess its still good money ) he would not be in the £ 50 - 70 k bracket that some of our ' galacticos' were/ are on
I would imagine that he would almost certainly have been taking a drop to go to Palace however this would be cushioned by the safety of a 3 year Contract ......

Got to say 15 players is alot but they have brought players who want to prove a point and make a step up!!! Will struggle but honestly hand in heart I wish we had taken their approach in the prem and brought mainly good champ players who will all play for each other rather than over paid mugs that we did!!!
