It was mentioned on this forum last night that we were in talks with another club over a striker and said club (who are they?) upped the price at the last moment and of course this had a knock on effect as we passed this onto Palace coz we couldnt afford to sell one striker and not replace him. The poster also said more should become known in a couple of days or so. I really would like to know the truth so that we can forget this one unsavoury taste from last night!

Wouldn't read to much into it, the poster who said that is an entertaining poster, but he hs got minus five thousand points in Hitmans ITK table, and hasn't got one shout right thus far iirc.
