been poised for a long time now. what time did townsend/jenas loans from spurs happen in january? i think they were done by this time.
maybe carroll is another loan tba tomorrow or just another headline to keep people watching.

Jenas was not announced until 9ish as he was stuck outside in the dark if memory serves me right as they locked him out

If the majority of our incomings ( Carroll ? , Krankjar , Ekotto ? , Lad from Chelscum , ) are all loans then why the mad panic to announce / sign before 11 pm

My understanding with us now being in the Championship was that pemanent signings had to be done before 11 pm ......

cheers Mattyqpr. thought it was earlier. ah hang on - they turned up early but then left and came back later to sign. that was it. so wait til 9pm then for poised to change to signed, hopefully.

i think that is right, havent got the deadlines, plus the out of contract players can be signed almost any time i think

funny. we got rid of adel thinking we were going to play 4-4-2. now according to jamie r we want krankjar to play in the hole. cd work well - him, hoilett and phillips playing in an attacking role behind austin or johnson. might also explain why we aren't more desperate to sign another striker.
