just needs a goal to get him going, sure he'll be fine and I still think he'll get at least 20 goals this season

Would absolutely love him to hit 20, but I think that is going to be a too difficult now with none so far. Too much ground to make up, ten or just above is my guesstimate.

        yeah

er jimmy carter you post with passion, and im sure you do believe in what you say but ill make a bet with you that austin will hit 25 goals this season
my reasons for feeling this to be true is based on the fact hes scored plenty of goals at this level at christmas qpr will be top by twelve clear points
teams will come to loftus road terrified and get turned over five or six nil,and once put on the rack the heartless killing machine austin will crash goal after goal into the net with m,any asists from hoillet and phillips, please cut and paste this at the end of the season if im right give me some respect, because i may be an idiot but i know my football

Ok Ted, let's have a sportsman's bet or a few pints at the last home game of the season that Charlie gets nowhere near 25 goals, and won't hit 20 either. I always bet against us anyway and always have done, so I'm not bocking him in any way.

Im with Jimmy the slow start will impact on his final outcome. I think he might get 15 to 18 if he starts scoring sharpish

Im sure he would have hoped to have had at least four in the league by now

No better time to open his league account then tomorrow which i fancy him to do. If he scores tomorrow he will get a brace

Don't do it Ted mate. I'm certain we will go up, but would never ever risk big dough betting on us, cos we always seem to trip up somehow. We aren't known as 'the coupon busters' by every punter for nothing.

Blimey we're only 5 games into a 46 game season... He bags a brace tomorrow and his dander will be up and he could go on a tasty run.... Granted he'll have games where he'll draw a blank but by the looks of his overall game and power/hardness he has loads to offer the team even without goals.... 23 for him this season is my guesstimate..... I agree, once he breaks his duck he will be on a roll.
But he looks good even without scoring.
Its nice to see players up for it, makes such a refreshing change compared to watching some of the employees from last season!!!

                          Spot on.

Don't forgot he's still getting used to a new club and new players, new ground.

Add to that we've had a high pressure start as the team everyone wanted to start badly and fail. Eyes were on us because of our squad and people saying we should win the league.... that's added pressure, and no surprise we've won games by the odd goal.

Now we have proven not only to the world, but more importantly to ourselves, that we are in this for the promotion challenge and will be up near the top of the table.

Now we've had a good start we will only get stronger and start putting teams down by 3 or 4 goals.

Austin scored bags of goals in inferior teams so once we click and he gets his first league goal he wont look back

He'll get more chances in our side than a millionaire in a wh0rehouse and even if he started scoring now he still only needs to maintain 1 in 2 to get 20 league goals this season, which i'm sure he'll do.

                            well

well football is all conjecture i think most of our fans seem to afree with me that he will hit 25 goals plus
please remeber that redknapp has put teams out who will grind 1-0 vics or we draw, this is just arry boys professional attitude,he is after all considerd to be in the top three managers ion the country and im sure he will get us up

Once Kranjcar gets fit and into the team, Austin's goal tally will increase.

There are plenty of teams he could/will get hat-tricks against - Millwall and Barnsley for starters.

                              20 goals....easy peasy!

People don't seem to realise how his general play has resulted in us scoring. If he hadnt taken that shot against Ipswich, Hitchcock wouldn't have scored. If he hadn't played an inch-perfect ball to Hill in Bolton, Johnson wouldn't have scored. If he didn't somehow manage to get the ball across the box to Hill v Leeds, there'd have been no goals. While he's only scored one league goal, I think his all around play has been really good. Held the ball up well on Saturday too, won us a lot of fouls.
