Important player for us and a good signing. Impressed with his overall game. Faster than I reckoned, works hard, good touch, shooting power. The goals will come...assist today.

Agreed, and he would have scored today if Hoilett played a full match.

Austin gets most of his goals from well delivered crosses - that's his speciality and it's something we need to start supplying him with in order to get the best from him.

Amen to that, brother. I sometimes fear the art of crossing at speed is going out of our game

Austin started slow at Burnley. He scores a couple of goals & you watch him fly
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Burnley fans rate him and that is good enough for me
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

Not really proven himself yet, would consider starting Johnson on his own with a 5 man midfield next game

Austin reckons Kranjcar will get him out of a rut

He said: “I watched Niko in the past and he’s a real exciting player. To learn from him and knowing he’ll be supplying balls can only make me a better player.

“The goals will come, although I don’t how. I’ve hit the crossbar a couple of times and maybe I’ll shin one in to get off the mark.”

                        That's another difference than Zamora.

Was Dave Thomas the last player we signed from Burnley ? He didn't turn out to be too bad !!
                          The goals will come.

haven't seen anything to worry about him myself. I think it will be easier to judge how he is doing once the attack is more fluent and once he has had plenty of chances over a few games.
The defensive work of the team has been great this season but the attack a little random, often been restricted to Hoilett dribbling with not much end product. It will improve soon I expect as the current team loosens up a little and the new boys get on the pitch too and the manager said after Leeds he was going to work on the creative side too. That will all help Charlie. But overall hes done ok so far.
