Can't see Everton in for Joey moon tbh, and if Hoillett wants to go to stoke that's a bad move imo.

well if we are going to have to pay him anyway let's make sure we ruin his wc chances.....don't care what the manager says give him 12 months with no football and then see how keen the Brazilians are to stick him between the sticks and tell Cesar this is what we're planning

Barton and Hoilett are key players. Who do we have who vp can replace Barton? Hoilett has the tools to be a top player.

If hoilett and Barton were potentially on their toes I personally couldn't of seen them being allowed to play todsy

That's my view. Would appear Traore is off Sunderland and he was left out as for Cesar he has been back a while and not seen any action so similar scenario

Barton would be a big loss, Jnr/AJ I would prefer to keep but depends on their replacements, losing Cesar + Traore would be good for the finances and not really impact the team.

no info but I got a good feeling Barton will stay, maybe AJ too, hope so.

MS doesn't post **** but I tend to go with TB on this one, JH had a hamstring problem, that could have gone today, I hope I am right.

                          These 5 average 40-50 a week that's 13m a year!!!!!
Think of the quality players you can get with that.
The loan window stays open for ages, the prem clubs name the squads and there are going to be loads of quality players facing doing the shopping with the mrs on a Saturday.
Harry is pals with most prem managers so I reckon there will 3 quality loans on the card and a bobby dazzler of a permanent on Monday.
But I'm bracing myself for losing any of 5 above as we are powerless to stop it ie junior to stoke for 7.5 and we can't stop it!!!

Cesar - I wholeheartedly agree and if we can convince someone to pay £2.5m AND he can convince them to pay close to £70k a week, he'll be gone.
Traore - £1.5m and I'd sell - As long as we brought in a decent replacement. Hill, by his own admission, struggles at LB and Suk-Young is frail defensively (Swindon's 1st). Bearing in mind Luke Young is reputedly on more a week and Onouha considerably more.

Barton - He's surprising me so far, playing consistantly well and keeping his head. His Twitter comments are more positive than before also. I'd keep him, again bearing in mind Diakite is on close to Joey a week, likewise Little Shauny, both of which I'd rather lose first if it was just about money.
Hoilett - Same as above, he's a threat and one of our more creative players currently. I wouldn't want to lose Adel AND him. See above regards Diakite & Wright Phillips before letting Hughes get his dirty hands on Junior. Point of order.

AJ - Again, looking good, IF he can stay fit. Or even half fit. 2 or 3 games a month. I'd much rather see Bobby leave before AJ who is desperately struggling and again - apparently on more a week than AJ (just).

Admittedly, my wage figures are taken from a National Newspaper, BUT if it's solely about money we could save MORE by offloading less, again IMO.
Also it's worth noting that according to the same Paper's figures we've shipped out (perm or temp/loan) over £700k a week with 19 players currently plying their trade elsewhere. That's approx. £36.5 Million a year. Roughly Half what we were spending in April/May.
Plus we're not paying Hughes £3m a year anymore.

Finally, if we offloaded another 5, we'd have to bring in a similar number as cover. Meaning 11 players incoming. Now wasn't bringing in 12 players over each of the lasty 2 Summer's where our problems started ?

BUT - we have lost £60m we would have received from even coming last in the Prem this season. Massive difference between prem and championship now. Re Caesar be amazed if we got a penny for him if another club takes him on those wages. A lot of big clubs have had a look and none have been interested at those wages.

We're still paying much of Park and Granero' s wages, so it'd be a scandal to sell Joey and/ or AJ to save money....

I think we're paying around a third of each. Which is acceptable considering the alternative of paying 100% for them to contribute so little in return.

Stainrod - You make a fair point, but can you really lose what you never had ? Last season we got £45m ish - same the previous season. so we've not lost £60m as we wouldn't qualify for the new £78m payola this season. In reality, after taking away this seasons parachute payment of £16m, we're down by about £30m. Bearing in mind we've cleared more than that off the wage bill, TF has done a 'triffic' job so far.
Cesar has 3 years left on his contract, he's Brazil's #1 keeper and Captain. I would want money for him. Same 3 years left with Barton & Diakite, although we'd struggle with the latter.WWages is their problem. It's in Cesar's best interests to play every week, if he wants to lift the World Cup in his own country - so take a paycut.
I'm pleased TF is standing firm. If players only have 1 year left, let them go. If 2 years, find a compromise, but 3 years means we want paying - agree that and wage conversations can then start.

I'd have no problem if Cesar, Young, Traore, Diakite & Zamora left, but only Julio doesn't have an injury question mark over him.
Then bring in 2 Strikers, a CB & a LB and I'd be VERY happy. A bonus would be if Harriman, Ehmer, Sutherland, Shariff were considered if injuries struck in key areas.

I might even let Balanta go too.....
