It's absolutely in the middle of nowhere. I know it well. If you travel by train the station is two miles out of town. You have to catch a bus into Yeovil proper. Or else arrange a taxi (there won't be any taxis waiting)....

Went there in Ld vans a few years back. We lost 3 nill and played so bad. Open terrace, rain, sleet and about 100 rangers fans. Worse away day ever. Still bitter.

We were in the main stand that night and after losing 3-0 had a small bit of grief in the car park outside!

About 20 of us went in a 16 seat mini bus so not the most comfortable journey there and back

airfield tavern on avondale road ginge

Airfiel tavern is best place for away fans. Opposite a lush chippy as well. About 15 minute walk from the ground. Asda and kfc are close by as well. Ground itself is the other side of town to the trains. There is a bus into toen but then u need another to get to the ground. There us a small away fans car park outside the away stand. Lots of street parking available. You will get very wet if raining and I know they are looking forward to our visit. Anything else you need to know?
