carlton cole is still a free agent. my take time to build up match fitness but if hes available and we dont have much time left then why not? of course there are players id prefer in front of cole (putting that in before i get shot down) but we all agree that we need depth and extra numbers. hes just an extra player in the squad. there are probably other similar players (in a free agent sense not position wise) that we can do this with aswell. cost effective way to increase the squad

Pointless thread is flavour of the month. I mean if it comes that late and we haven't signed anyone then why not? There are others I'll much rather have but he isn't a bad option
