Kids for a quid etc is all well and good but what ultimately turns kids into supporters is a winning team. Kids are glory hunters, fact.
Load of kids around me Wednesday night, looking bored out of their heads and quite frankly didnt seem to want to be there. Until we get back to the Prem, most kids will still prefer the scum/#### etc

Yes, locking them in their room on bread and water works miracles.Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

Cool - I must admit I was really mean when my little one said that to me. I started taking him and his friend when he was 8 and we used to make a day of it. Meeting friends having a beer etc...
When he announced he and his friend supported Man U, when Saturday came and they were all ready to go to football not wearing the QPR scarf etc.. like they normally do so I explained that they couldn't come, footie was about the friends to make, the bond between the fans and sharing the experience win or lose, and it is unfair to use two seats up for non supporting fans when they could go to two new QPR fans who will support the team.
Now you both support Man U, you need to go and spend Saturday with them and enjoy the experience with them and have fun, this I am afraid cant do, because even though my team loses (a lot more), even those's days are far more enjoyable with QPR.
Well they spent 2 home games not going, the third week both of them were there ready waiting with the scarfs and declared - there Man U friends were boring and win or lose they enjoyed Sat with me and their friends.
Everyone different as it could have back fired, its one of those you need to judge yourself. Didnt make them support QPR, but made it clear I wasnt going to taken em either - meanie Dad i was for two weeks and I must admit i missed the little greatly too.One for all.... and all for one

My little boy is 3 and is QPR now and forever......I'm not even a remotely 'pushy' Dad and am willing to accept that certain things that I have a passion for may well not be his thing........but with QPR....there is no choice.

What you should of done is tweeted Tony and he personally might have phone your lad up to have a pep talk with him. I know he's done that already to a few Junior R's already this season who were extremely upset about being relegated from the Premiership who were thinking about changing their allegiances. Tell me another Chairman in this country who's done anything like that.

My two sons were never allowed to support anyone else from day one!! A few hours after the birth of my first son my wife sent me off to Mothercare to buy the first baby grow and yes I managed to find a blue and white hooped one (albeit thin hoops, but you cant have everything!)
First home match after we returned home with him I was down the club shop and baby grow number two - 'I support QPR 'cos my Dad says so' was the slogan on the front!!
My second son played academy football for Saints and we were offered free tickets for every home game, he got into trouble after missing three games on the trot (Saints wanted all players academy upwards to attend all games, solidarity and all that) cos he was at QPR! Same thing happened when he went to Bournemouth.
QPR is in the blood, if your grandpa was an R, your Dad was, and so on, passed down the generations. Doesn't matter where you end up living, once an R, always an R and any parents who allow otherwise are bad!!22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

Saints aren't the only ones with the solidarity thing - we kept being given tickets to everything and he just kept handing them back saying it isn't going to happen. He did get a bit of grief once for wearing a Rangers shirt to a Club event but that's another story, and in the end it just became accepted that Bluehoop Junior was a Ranger through and through. He's 4th generation and there's simply no way he (or his sisters) would ever be anything else.22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game.
