My feeling is that Martinez doesn't rate him highly enough and would like to bring in his own players.

I think if he does well, QPR will need to make Wigan a very good offer, so that they can up their bid for Bodde, otherwise he will return to Wigan. They won't accept much less than the fee they paid to sign him (£2M).

There is also a good chance that another club will make Wigan a better offer than QPR and he would be free to join them.

Middlesboro wanted him before he opted for Wigan and might make an offer again, or perhaps even Newcastle or any other side that could be well placed in the table come January.
