...according to Vital Football on NewsNowQPR.
Reports today suggest the Martin Rowlands could be in line to return to the side, but in a slightly unorthodox role.
To suit his squad Magilton may look to utilise the former Brentford man as a striker as part of a three-pronged attack, he told the London Informer.
In telling the newspaper how he may look to deploy the returning midfielder, he dropped a subtle hint that Rowan Vine is going nowhere in the immediate future.
He said: 'I can see Martin playing else-where because he's got other strings to his bow,' admitted Magilton.
'If he's fit, he's a pivotal player for the club. I could see myself playing three men in attack. That might suit Rowan Vine better as it happens.'
This comes as Magilton admits that he is torn whether to let Heidar Helguson leave club on emergency loan to former club Watford.
With Alessandro Pellicori bagging a goal in the reserves during the week, and Helguson picking up a knock on international duty - he may well move to Vicarage Road before this weekend's clash.
He continued: 'They [Watford] are keen and I've let Heidar know they're interested.
'I'll talk to the player again and we'll go from there."
With Angelo Balanta also injured, Rangers options are somewhat refined up front and Rowlands could be the answer if Rangers are to bag their first win on home soil this season.
