I've been to Elland Road once and noticed that away fans sat in the main stand on the right, not behind the goal.

I've been twice and both times we were given that little cheese shaped section in the corner. One was midweek and once when we lost 2-0 when it was freezing and it snowed like crazy, most games that day were off due to weather (mainly in the south)

Anyway on both I would say we had no more than 800 there

We were allocated 1400ish. If there is more than 500 there I would be amazed.
