So what you're saying then is, those going to Leeds are more 'proper' fans than yourself? Does that make you any less of a fan?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

No. Haven't made myself clear. All I'm saying is that some fans are more committed than others, that's all. And kudos to those who travel up to Leeds for an early kick off which is live on TV. That's hardly an outrageous opinion. I shouldn't have picked up the word proper from that silly fella, I guess.

I think a few people on here are getting a bit carried away with how many games people go to and who travels away etc. I have nothing but respect for the guys that travel all over the place to see us play but it definitely ain't a case of those that don't aren't real fans.

What I'm talking about are the numptys that get on the message boards and bitch but couldn't tell you who the starting 11 was. I even know a few guys who call themselves QPR fans to my face even though they know that I know they used to go to Fulham or Chelsea when we were in admin and League One etc.

I suppose when you grow up as a QPR fan through the late 80's, 90's & into the 00's you get used to people who are proud QPR fans being a certain type of fan who would stick with the club through thick and thin (and more accurately admin and relegation). These days I guess with the direction the club is trying to go we need to get used to some fair-weather fans, fanboys from the Far East etc!
