The London thing I can't see being a factor. If Defoe has an opportunity to play regular Premiership football in a World Cup year, whether it be in London, Stoke, Hull or anywhere else, I'm pretty sure he'll jump at it!

Our only hope is that nothing has transpired elsewhere by late evening on deadline day...........personally I just can't see it!

I agree mate - but there was someone on here not so long ago saying that Defoe wanted to stay in London. Being realistic, if it were a choice of moving north to play in the PL or dropping down to stay in London, the only two things that could sway it are playing for Harry due to the prior relationship and Roy H saying his World Cup chances would not be affected by it. On that front, he seems to get in the squad whilst playing a bit part for Spurs so surely it would make more sense to play week in and out, even at the next level? But we are realistic enough to know he will take PL football given the choice.

I don't think it will happen, if it was you and QPR was not a club that you supported, would you come?

I'd rather stay up in the top flight, however money talks as we have seen the last 2 years.

Do we really want to go down that route again?

If we did and he came, I think he'd give us 100%, but it's not going to happen though.
