Austin is very close to a goal soon, he has been in some fantastic positions, hit the bar 4 times and been up against top quality goalkeepers.

Honestly I think people are over reacting in this thread again, he is a great player and will work out well for QPR

It is being said all over twitter that his goal yesterday evening was not offside, because there was a defender on the line. Did anybody see this?

No offside when he headed the ball IMO. Not sure whether AJ was offside for the previous header when the ball was put into the box though.

I've watched the hi-lights on Player & on Youtube & it doesn't look offside.
Also it does look like SWP was pulled down in the penalty area.

After watching the hi-lights (I know they're just hi-lights), it didn't seem as bad as some on here have been groaning about.

So whoever on here was saying (I think it was a joke) that the ref. was to blame was perhaps correct. Hopefully two errors in this match means that there will be fewer errors in the important ones.

Tell ya what if that screamer of a shot hadn't been saved @ Bolton he'd be off the mark in the league .........

Didn't someone post ages ago he took 5 games to start scoring at all his previous clubs ?

Glad I'm going Saturday cause the floodgates are about to open

For us that would mean around 29k."

Once we have Hoilett and Phillips, he will start to click it.

Not scored in the league yet but still been important. He's a constant threat and look at his involvement in the build-up for the goal at Bolton - he plays the pass back for Clint to run onto off the wing and makes it look easy.

Austin will score loads for QPR.

He has scored one, hit the bar twice and had an effort ruled out.

                          That's good enough for me.

I've been really impressed with him. His work rate and all round play has been great IMO. He's been very unlucky so far with his attempts but I think it is only a matter of time until he starts scoring.
I still believe he can get 20 goals this season.

Just shows he has been a bit unlucky. Soon his luck will turn.
