I think the club should issue an apology for last nights performance/debarcle? I'm sick and tired of our approach to these games they ask people to part with their hard earned, and choose a totally inept team(all be it that team should be good enough) but so many poor dont give a F**K performance Faurlin,Jenas,Zamora.SWP,Austin?Yun,
come Tony do the right thing?
Either take it seriously or just give us L.Cup game free
I wont be going to any more League cup games until we start taking it seriously, the club are just taking the P*SS

Which would you prefer, 0-2 against Swindon or 0-2 against Leeds?

What would be the point and tangible worth of such an apology? We've had worse defeats, and not cup ones, over the last couple of seasons, with far greater eventual repercussions for the club than this insignificant cup exit.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

This thread has actually made me angry. Just no.

My advice, don't attend these games if that's how you feel.
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Come on guys, let's get a grip. Do we all of a sudden have a God given right to just turn up and win every game because we're QPR? Asking for an official apology because of 1 defeat in the league cup is quite simply ridiculous and a huge over-reaction.

Yes, it's a cr*p result and a few players didn't cover themselves with glory but it really ain't the end of the world. It's the league cup for Christs sake, I'd sooner Harry shuffled the pack and found out who isn't up to the job in a game like this rather than taking a chance in a league match.

My guess is that Harry found out what he needed to know on a couple last night (and from what I'm reading Faurlin may be one of them). I'd imagine there will be a couple of more ins and outs before the window closes!

Don't think the purpose of the tread was to compare. It's simply adressing our cup forms every season.

Good post, it's also fotball it happens as you can see from other results.

If you would have said lose last night and win at the weekend, I would have taken it. We better win now!

How many times have premiership teams been beaten by lower league teams, let alone a championship outfit like ours that isnt fully settled!
i think its what makes cup competitions exciting cos you cant predict it and you end up with soe real random teams getting to semi's, sometimes finals.
It is clear, after reading this forum and twitter, that QPR has some real spoilt and pathetic fans. Absolute bullsh*t opinions and expectations that go beyond reality.
As others have said, dont go to matches and dont follow a football team if you dont understand the nature of the sport.

What is it with these hysterical drama queen comments. Be rational. It's always been the QPR way. I Remember going to goodison on a Saturday in about '92 and destroying Everton in a manor not seen for ages then play yes Swindon on a Tuesday and get done by them with 10 men. It happened when we were a darn sight better than we are now!!

I am still amazed that people were shocked by last nights result. It is the same every year. We cant seem to get anyone at the club excited by the league cup. Despite it still being the one trophy we have won and still drag the old boys onto the pitch at every available anniversary! even though it was over 40 years ago!

The Attendance's are Rubbish, the team uninterested. Whilst it is important to rest the squad in the championship. These are Professional footballers supposedly the Gladiators of the Game. at the peak of fitness. Its not like they are Playing 5 sets of tennis every other day like tennis Players or have 5 sacks of Sh1t being beaten out of them week in week out like rugby players. I think it is a Malaise that has spread over the club that we don' t do cups!

make the games Free or nominal payments get a crowd in there..play a full strength side and who knows we may make a cup run.

and that cup run playing knock out football may stand us in good stead for the experience of playing play off football. which could be highly likely this season.
