I'm not after an apology, but I've said year after year I wont be here the same time next year, but next year I definetly wont. We did everything wrong last night, we sit there week after week and know what players strengths/weaknesses are, but yet we set up and played to our weaknesses. Absolute joke.

Apologise for what exactly? Getting rid of 19 bags of rubbish in one transfer window, starting to replenish to the extent of 6 in but resting several ahead of an important league game on Saturday lunchtime. The act of removing that many players in one go is bound to have a serious effect on the strength and depth of any squad and, let's be honest, even when we had a far larger pool to choose from, the ones given a chance to shine in the cup hardly set it alight did they.

Spot on. As I kept saying last night. We went out the cup early under Warnock and was undefeated in the league until December. I'd take that all day long. A win or draw on Saturday and the short term memory crew will be back in love with Rangers again. Typical knee jerk reaction from our fans and nothing more than I expected to see on this MB today.

We rested our best players and were unlucky, no apology needed for me.

Football is a squad game, if you cant select fringe players in a early round game against lower league opposition when can you?

The tickets for these games are cheap for a reason, everyone has a choice,
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

Maybe not the club, but Harry needs to apologise for spending time on MOTD commenting about other teams and players instead of getting down and sorting out what TF pays him to do.

This is a really invalid argument. We had a squad out there where not one of Swindon players was good enough to make it into our team and they still beat us - that is pathetic.

How do we know harry didn't do a Warnock and really wasn't bothered because promotion is our only goal this season.

Well one of that bag of rubbish outshone Berbatov on Saturday according to Fulham fans, and was their star player last night according to BBC
Another of that bag of rubbish was PSV's player of the match (according to madara at least) against Milan, and scored for them over the weekend.

Maybe instead of getting rid of those "bags of rubbish" we should have got rid of the bag of rubbish that seems more interested in MOTD than on getting us promoted.

I dont think many of you are getting the drift of the thread it's not that we got beat! its if they are not going to take it seriously then dont take the **** in charging. our approach to ths competiotion is/has been abysmal over the few years, I agree would rather win at leeds and people need resting but if we're going to put out a sub standard team and not take it seriosly then dont charge or just include the first 2 cup games in the S.T. this would also swell the gate and create more of an atmosphere. I go to all games, but wont be attending any more L.Cup games in the first 2 rounds.

No we dont really give a damn about this competition because we're never going to win it in our current state so all it could possibly do is lead to injuries to keyu players and act as a distraction to what really matters, the league campaign.

We had a scratch team out and of those involved who feature in our main squad i would'nt be surprised if Harry said to them dont take any risks, hence they appear to have a half ars5d attitude on the pitch.

Add to that it's Swindon's cup final and chance of a scalp, they will obvioulsy be really up for it.

I'm personally not bothered in the slightest we're out as we can focus on the league.

This thread has made me so angry!! Dave we have had an unbeaten start to the season we are joint top. Harry gave fringe players a chance last night. Handed a youngster his debut, gave Ale some match time on his comeback, gave Samba an opportunity as with Yun and Murphy. The team should have been capable of winning yes, but i thought we kept the ball very well and some players impressed me. Yun looked good and is a real option at full back on the weekend.

If you think that the club owes us an apology for last nights result then that tells me that you have not seen the real bad times because believe me this is not a bad time. We are winning important league game ugly and with good football. We are on the up, stop being so ****** judgemental and look at the bigger picture. I do not care about the carling cup, i do not care about swindon town i care about QPR getting promoted. Unbelievable some of the fans we have, great start and the first game we lose demanding an apology get over yourself and get to leeds on saturday.

Oh dear. So the fact that Harry went on MOTD is the reason we lost? Heard it all now.
