Our midfield last night was shocking, embarrasing, dreadful, I can go on. Infact I can say the same for the majority of the team!
So no it is not an over-reaction but a very valid point. Let one of our best players of this new season leave and then watch the decline.
This is my worry. Imagine if last Saturday were the highpoint of our season?? Hopefully Harry's man management skills- and the £70K pw- will keep Joey on board. If we had to rely on Faurlin we'd struggle to stay up, not go up.

Am back from a (deserved) 24 hour ban. Wish it had been in the mods power to have banned me from last night's game....

Going to that game was a far more suitable punishment than a 24 hour ban mate. Good to see you back posting and in good spirits too

Always thought that. Insane decision to send him to France.

Harry has come out and said he wants him to stay here. Therefore, the club should not even consider selling him. They have got rid of plenty of dross, no need to start losing influential players too.

I agree that he's worth keeping. The only question is wages. We're going to be very heavily in the red this season (and last season's books - which haven't been released yet - are going to be disastrous), so it's gambling on the idea that he'll be a key player in promotion. Personally I'd take the gamble, but I fully understand if the club doesn't feel the same way.

Is it possible he did not play yesterday, so as to show the board that he is really needed?

it was a MH move and TF's one blameworthy action

I know he has turned Crystal Palace down.
