Last night was awful and resembled much of last season's performances and showed that he was certainly missed and would be difficult to replace.

He has won this league before, along with Simpson Hill Faurlin and these players need to be kept. The squad is woefully short of numbers and quality.

    Faurlin was pants last night
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Yes, he was but he wasn't against Sheff Weds on the opening day. The whole team was pants last night, some might have an excuse like lack of fitness, sharpness or returning from injury, but most did not.

He was pretty average against Wednesday though, bar his little string of tackles.

Oh and no itk, but I'm pretty certain for some mad reason that hoilett will be a stoke player come the end of the window. That's who's deffo gone imho.

im gonna be furious if we sell any of our decent players, as we'll inevitably replace them with some washed up 33year old looking for 1 last deal

lets face it this squad is already pretty ****. it's gonna need serious investment if we go back in the premiership - something that we've not done, despite all the interviews and quotes! we're the master of free transfers

I guess Faurlin is finished at this level.

                        What a strange statement!

On the basis of one bad game??

How many people now think we would have done better last year in the Premiership with Barton (even with him missing 8 games)? It does not seem to matter whether or not he has a good game or not, his presence appears to help the whole team.

Yep a young player back from a long term injury thousands of miles from home and who has played in the Premiership and yet still plays far better then most of his team mates !!

Due his injury,I just fear that he has lost the little pace he had. I hope I´m wrong, make no mistake about that.

Isle you might agree here; Faurlin getting a lot of stick for his performance last night (and in fairness all in all he wasn't great and looked a bit sluggish and off the pace towards the end, especially) but I can remember at least 4 or 5 blinding passes he made, including some 60 odd yard cross field passes to our wingers feet. That alone puts him in probably the top 3 performers last night IMHO anyway.
