  • WBA & Shalke now targeting Cesar

For someone that is happy to stay now and pick up a wage, is he just being left out completely now?

      West Brom target Cesar

Reportedly taking enquiries from WBA over Cesar.

Talks between the clubs believed to be at an early stage, but a loan deal could be on the cards.

QPR are reportedly taking enquiries from West Bromwich Albion over their Brazilian keeper Julio Cesar. Talks between the clubs are believed to be at an early stage, but a loan deal could be on the cards.

Harry Redknapp says it is inconceivable that Julio Cesar will not be snapped up before the transfer window closes tonight.

Cesar is staying. But will have to fight for his place again, Harry told him.

Be surprised as no-one has shown any interest for the who summer. I believe he is staying, just hope Harry don't put him straight in the team.

Its surprising really as I thought we wouldn't have had a problem finding a buyer for Cesar. He is a top goalkeeper.

There has to be something up which we are not aware surely other then wages. Why would clubs not want Cesar on a free or even show interest (as I think we would let him go on a free) we would prob subsidise wages and still no one wants

WBA and Arsenal are desperate for keepers and have gone and got keepers not half as good as Cesar something don't smell right

                        Arsenal don't want him

SSN Palermo have confirmed that goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano is set to join Arsenal on a year-long loan deal with an option to buy. The 27-year old, who has six Italy caps to his name, spent last season on loan at Fiorentina where he made 32 Serie A appearances, having joined from Inter Milan in 2012.

I accept that but the question is why don't they. Why would you not want a World Cup, Champions League winner in his prime even on loan like they have done for that keeper

Because he's a great shot stopper, but cannot command his area or deal with crosses, both of which are essential in the PL??

Someone will take him tonight is my guess. We don't want him, and he's rated too highly/too good to rot with the joeys.
