Urgent work needed on the squad

He can and will do it of we don't lose any of our starting eleven (bar hill) and adds two or three more. IMO.

But we have the best squad in the league.

Why do we need two or three more?

Stop making excuses and work with the squad you have.

Can always improve in life, and if you have the money, then why not. We have got rid of too many to not add at least two more. Fact of football.

It was one lost - it's football it happens sometimes - cant win them all and much prefer the slip up in the cup than in the league!! Players can have a off game!!

We are good enough on paper to go up as Champions - but then again, we were good enough on paper to finish comfortably mid-table last season.

Forest, Watford, Blackpool and Leeds are all better than us, Leicester, Wigan and Reading might be too. The sooner we realise this and start working on it, the better.

I didn't say Adel was our saviour last season, I mean, he didn't save us from going down, did he? I said Adel is a top quality player who we misused last season to our great detriment.

I don't compare Adel and Townsend as they're too extremely different type of players, one is about getting his head down, running at people and getting the crosses in, the other is about skill, trickery, jinxing past a player and playing the killer pass. But as you ask how they're doing, Adel was Fulham fan's MOTM against Arsenal (who also said Berba was rubbish in that game) and he was their MOTM against Burton.
Townsend was very good in Tbilisi, and he dived for the penalty against Swansea.

What does any of that prove? What does any of it matter? Townsend isn't a QPR player, and Adel isn't going to play for QPR this season.

the lack of cover in defence and attack are there for all to see. having to rely on Dunne Hill Zamora and Johnson staying fit to contribute throughout the season is not a good idea. QPR tried to go through last seaspn with only 3 strikers and paid a heavy price.
Doing the same again in a 46 game season is sheer madness.
this is not a reaction to the cup defeat as I have been saying this all pre season.

Fair point, some cover is needed for injuries.
