How many here wish the Deadline Day was passed? After that the rumours about our players leaving (Barton and Hoilett) will end and we still, as a Championship team, have the possibility of loaning players from the Premiership (or other divisions).

I think we can still loan out as well, we could see players leave?
I'm not 100% sure but I guess it works like that Melanie.
I think the Transfer window should be open for a week only.
Teams struggle to buy players in 2 months, but manage to bring in 11 on the last day.

They leave it so late on before making a decision. Especially bigger players...
As soon as one goes or it gets nearer to the window closing... the deals move.

BUT - the majority of deals will still happen on the last day.
If people want to get a deal done in a day they can. Even QPR believe it or not...

Originally posted by MYU View PostHe could reach terms with Marseille this window, must have been wages right?
But - The stumbling block was the contract he has with us.
- We wasn't going to pay OFF his final part of his high salary that he wanted.
He may well have agreed a deal that was lower in France...?
Like anyone, you would want a the money you are owed.
The trouble was, If JB wanted the move so bad he would have accepted leaving for free like QPR was allowing him to.
On the other hand, QPR could have been asking for a transfer fee..
We dont actually know... right?
