  • Cisse nets brace in 3-2 win today.

Djibril Cisse scores two for Kuban in 3-2 win today. In some ways I wish we'd kept him,I think he would have fitted in well with Charlie.Far better alternative to Zamora.

I always thought Cisse had a lot more goals to give, he just did not get the service he needed. The man apologized to fans for his poor performance before leaving, I wish him the best at his new club.

Thanks Joon , see you feel the same way and I'm not alone.Unlike others who think my thread is "Shyte" and QPR unrelated. Its just opinions and personal thoughts after all and not necessarily deserving of such adverse reactions.

Don't take the negative posts to heart, Jay. I'm sure most of our fans still appreciate Cisse for the player he is, and his contributions to the club. Most people who have a positive response usually don't feel strongly enough to post, but they're there.

I do not think we have any strikers currently on our team that are in Cisse's class as a striker. Proven finisher.

That being said, Harry must have his plans for the team, and I guess Cisse does not fit into that plan.

Let's see how good cisse is doing come Christmas then I'll decide if I miss him or not. Always starts well with New clubs then goes off the boil
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

every player that played for us and left in the last while are gone and most of our recent lot don't warrant a thread about how well their doing elsewhere. ask about their time here then more positive comments will ensue if its due.

I said it in January that he should have been kept and played alongside Remy, however, it seemed clear that Redknapp did not want him.
Cisse does have issues, but when he is on form he can be a very good goalscorer.

Having said that, he has moved on and we should now concentrate on the players at the club now.

For those of you who hanker after those who have gone I have two words - team spirit. The dressing room is a far happier place today and I would not want any of them back. I wish them well in their new careers but my focus is on those who remain and those who have recently joined. Not criticising the OP by the way.
