I think we could properly fall apart without his experience. He is the type of player that reads the game so well and let's the lesser talented players like Henry do what they do best and even look better doing it. Think its an major importance of our season keeping him.

No one is going to pay him what we are paying him.

We are in a much stronger position to negotiate with Marsaille now. If Barton had sulked or Harry had refused to pay him they could have more or less forced him to pay half his wages but now I assume Harry wants to keep him its up to them to make a really good offer - including covering the full cost of his colossal wages and I can't see them doing that.

I think if there was a chance of him leaving he would not be playing as we would not want to risk him getting injured as the way he plays that could happen. Mbia, Samba, Cesar etc not playing hopefully means they will be off

Given his value and proven ability on the pitch and the fact Harry is massively impressed with him, it would be illogical to consider selling him now.
We won't sell him for a couple of million, it has been agreed he can go on a free but we wont pay him off and I dont think TF will go back on his word because if he does JB may then sulk.

OM have offered him a deal but it means he needs to take a wage cut of around £3m which he wont do.

Unless someone comes in and matches his salary or he decides to take a pay cut then he stays, it good to see he is enjoying it as then hopefully he will enjoy it and not be so eager to take a pay cut.

Agree with everyone, QPR with JB is a better team without JB.
