He was brilliant today. We need his type in this division. Hard as nails.

Everyone I spoke to at half time @ the game was talking about how impressed they were with his play.

You are right , you get to see players differently from low down behind the goal .......

While on that note Green's distribution didn't look to good from that angle, reminded me of Tony Roberts

For us that would mean around 29k."

        Outstanding game, my motm
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Blinding game. Hopefully the pratts that slated him before he kicked a ball for us are eating some humble pie.

He's the kind of player every team needs. People call him a one trick pony, but if he gets the ball and passes it out of danger he's a success. Too many times last season we had centre-mids trying to get up the pitch the whole time, someone sitting and mopping up is just what we needed!

I wasn't at the game but by reading the comments on here it appears he had a good game. Have said in a previous thread that I haven't been impressed by what I have seen of him, which was mostly playing in a struggling Wolves side but would reserve judgement & support him whilst wearing the Hoops. Maybe not a premier league player but maybe a decent championship player? A slightly younger Derry?

Anyway we won today so let's enjoy.

Made some crunching tackles today and was tidy the whole game, very happy with his performance.

Cheers for the update North. Seems to back up what other posters have said. Hopefully bodes well. Have taped the game so will have a butcher's later.

I don't want to go ott, but I think he'd do okay in the PL still. But for now we're Championship

Henry was clearly MOM which Sky somehow gave to Hill, can only be because of his run for the goal, as his passing and positioning was poor today.

As a Wolves fan, I'm delighted Henry played so well today. He's often been unfairly portrayed: he's not the greatest footballer but he is totally honest, committed and brave. He's not a beast or an animal. He breaks up the midfield and puts in the tough tackles. One of the only players to apologise for the disgraceful football some of our team played last year. I was going to post earlier when he was getting slated but I thought I'd wait for him to put in the sort of display Wolves fans know he is capable of. I'll miss him. Hope you go straight up.

Thanks! Hope Hogan (if you sign him) does a good job for you too.

Good game but I was worried he could be sent off. I expected Faurlin to replace him as precaution.

Glad to have you input mate particularly as a Wolves supporter as some of the bashing he has taken here has been based on the alleged views of Wolves fan towards him.

Personally I think he is a decent player and an asset to the team granted not going to beat three players and pick out the top corner but then again that's not what he is in the side to do.
