a.) He was the best shot stopper statistically actually, not the overall best keeper.
b.) Opta stats do not tell the full story. I remember when we signed Simon Royce the Opta stats said he was one of the best keepers in the country. Decent keeper yes, but not anywhere near the as good as the stats made him out to be.

The fact is Cesar went missing when we needed him most last season. He made costly errors at key moments in big games that we needed to win, particularly against Villa. Then when it became clear we were going down the guy lost interest all together.

From what I've seen of him playing for us he's not as good as he's cracked up to me and his heart definitely isn't in it. Personally I think it's very bad news that he's staying as he is nothing but an overhead (and a signifcant one) for us!

Agree. And i am sure he will go. But if he stays he has to play. Brazils no1 Keeper or Englands no 6?

Look at the bright side. Two good keepers will fight to earn No.1 which is good for us.

Why do some people think Cesar said he wanted to leave? It was Redknapp who said he is too good to play in the Championship and that the board have given him permission to talks to other clubs. All Cesar has said is that he doesn't mind staying and that he and his family are settled in London

Green plays for me until his form dips then you consider the alternatives its the only fair way. He's done ok so far so tough t itty cesar your on the bench. Decision time what's more important money or game time in World Cup year

Very bad news. This will cost us 2-3 good Championship outfield players.

When you put it that way 3london !
For me the best situation would be to move both on but unfortunately Ceaser is the only one we could shift being realistic I couldn't imagine any club paying Greene what we are paying him

Play Green then when he is injured play Murphy. Force Cesar out in the January window as I'm sure the Brazil coach wont be watching QPR over the next 4 months.
