Zamora is struggling with a hip problem and probably one or two other injury problems. He is also past his prime.
IMO he is the current 'Mark Hateley' a player signed for too much money, on a big salary who was not ft to really carry on playing in the way he used to.
He isn't to blame, Hughes is, for signing him and now Redknapp for continuing to select him.
Zamora should have gone in for surgery in May or June and tried to get fit enough to feature in the 2nd half of the season, and perhaps play a few games before his contract expires.
