Better big man to knock the ball to Austin than Zamora when a.j is inevitably injured in my opinion.

I'd take him all day at the moment. He'll hold the ball up more times in one game than Zamora has in 18 months. Big lad who unsettles defenders and would be a good option. He has a dodgy injury record himself though so would be a gamble. A loan deal until January wouldn't be bad to begin with.

I think in the Championship he would do a decent job would perhaps not be someone that I would have initially thought of but think in terms of a big man there are plenty worse we would be looking at. Its a loan so wheres the harm

Where did Carlton Cole end up????

He hasn't landed up anywhere yet.

Im surprised. I would give him a trial if he is without a club

How is anyone believing this ... It's in the sun... It's not true

What are the odds these players reported in the papers actually signing though?
Only a tiny possibility that the story is remotely true, and if it was even he will say almost certainly not fancy the championship and even if he did the chances of him saying yes to the wages Harry seems to be offering is truly astronomical. It is not like last year when the club was waving huge contracts under players noses is it. So I don't get excited about newspaper talk either way.

Amoebi is a standing joke even among the Newcastle fans. He may be OK at Championship level, but I have my doubts.

Would rather Carlton Cole to be honest. Think he would team up well with Austin
