Maybe Legs is going to right back because Ramage is moving to the centre so that Connolly plays out on the left???

now thats a good move,would be good to try ramage in his natural posistion alongside gorkks,would be happy with those 2 as fullbacks.worth a punt

Hope not, Connolly is a v gd centre back - plus we also have Gorks at centre half and - when fit - One Size. Don't see that Ramage is such a talent that we need move people out of position to accomodate him. Also remember Connolly at left back away at Charlton last season and he was woeful - not a left sided player IMHO.

Ramage makes far fewer mistakes than Stewart.

Ramage is a centre back. He was only ever picked as a right back due to Stephen Carr's injury at Newcastle.

Nothing about rose tinted glasses it's about picking on form and at the moment Gorkss' form is poor as is Borrowdale's.

Legs playing at right back means Ramage is dropped, end of.

My point was that Ramage is far less deserving of the boot than Borrowdale, who is a much weaker link defensively than Ramage is.
If Legs has any sort of left foot, I'd replace Borrowdale with him, rather than Ramage.

That's pretty tough on Ramage, if true. I hope Leigertwood does better at playing right-back, than he has done in midfield of late.

He's been v good in midfield - got stuck in and run about a lot - its for the galacticos to do the fancy stuff, which so far they haven't most of the time.

Hopefully this fad of playing Connolly anywhere but CB has died out now JM witnessed a CB masterclass from Matt against Scunny. It would be criminal to the play the lad anywhere but CB, should be first choice in that position

Trust me I don't want Connolly to play at left back but I do want us to pick a back four and be consistent. How many times so far this season has the same back four played the next match? Sometimes you have to pick the best that is available and if that means that Connolly play at left back than so be it.
