  • Cesar and Arsenal

Arsenal clearly need a keeper and there appeared to be strong interest from the gooners close season.

Assuming they are interested and given their Saturday drubbing do we play hard ball if they come asking and bump the price up another 500k, for example, or do we just let him go for a fair price to get him off the books

I torn between the two if honest

Do they 'clearly need a keeper' though?

Well if you listen to there fans and the media they are desperate for one. I have always thought the polish keeper was decent but those that watch Arsenal regularly suggest otherwise

Are we asking for a fee? I would be surprised.

Would expect a fee of at least £2million for Cesar. Would be shocked if we let him go for sweet fa.

The fee isn't the problem, it's his wages.

I'm sure ArseAnal could afford to pay them.

This could be good for us if Arsenal go in to panic mode.

We should be called "Queens Panic Rangers"

Looks like we'll be doing it again on deadline day.

Rekon Wenger is waiting for us to back down and let him go there a free to get him of the wages. I work with a few Gooners and they want him to sign Cesar asap poor mugs don't realise the fella isn't much better than what they have.

I don't think it's just the wages. He wants a long contract. He is contracted with us until end of 2015 and he is 33 now, I think. I can imagine that he wouldn't move for anything less and other clubs are reluctant to commit to high wages for that long and at his age.
