The 'Rubber' on South Africa Rd.......plans unveiled
I don't often criticise the club and I know the pitch is not our responsibility but to have the pitch in the condition it is with a professional football club 200m away is shocking. I have mentioned this before but we should tell the council we will take responsibility for it and we should turn it into a QPR hub with big pictures of the crest and former players plastered all over the walls.
Also before home matches we should do family events there such as face painting, meeting injured players for kids and coaching and this should become part of the matchday experience for the kids (kick about and coaching from say 1ish with qpr community coaches then to the ground for the match even involve away a fans kids have a match between them)
We should also have coaches there in the evenings under the floodlights organising local matches and tournaments keeping an eye on the local talent (footballers not girls )
Its a wasted resource at the current time which we should be using to improve the profile of the club; forget chasing the pound abroad for now lets have a quick win and do what is easy in the first instance and sort out our profile on our own door step in our manor
Very sensible suggestions. If we're so concerned with developing talent having somewhere where the kids in the area can have a kick around without a membership would be a good place to start.

At last some one talking sense instead of ******, well done mate, top post! Our club would benifit a lot from this kind of gesture
