Fantastic job QPR have done there & as said saving alot of money. Two more players on higher wages to go. Cesar & MBia & that's the job complete in 1 window which is very impressive. Traore & Diakite are the only dead wood after that

I did have concerns if we couldn't get out of this league but I don't feel them worrys anymore
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

What exactly is going on with Mbia?
I read pre season he wanted to roll his sleeves up and get on with it.
Then there was talk on here off Cardiff City for him.
He featured pre season but not not yet in the league?
A little curious. IS he out of here or going to take inspiration from 'our' Joey.

I also hope we sort out Diakite's issue and get him off our wage bill.

We've offloaded the dead wood superbly well. A few to go, but the board have wised right up &, hopefully, we as a club can reap the rewards this season.

Not sure it is that impressive, for me it's another chapter in a series of disasters in the way the club has been run. The deadwood were removed by way of loans and frees, club has taken a finanacial & promotional battering and can't IMHO take any praise for now off loading players that they sanctioned.
We still have players that have done v little for the club, BZ, SWP and AJ to just name three that are most likely on prem wages...
To celebrate such incompetence is on par with bankers patting themselves on the back because the losses they made weren't as much as predicted..
The last two years has been a monumental mess and sending a player to Turkey on loan or whatever ain't going to mask that.

Wouldn't Ephraim be classed as deadwood? No longer getting a look in and well out of the picture.

Done a very good job in off loading some of the high earners but I imagine we still have the highest wage bill in the division by some distance.

Crazy to think that clubs like Fiorentina and Arsenal can't sign Cesar because they can't match his wages. Must be on close to 100k a week. That's frightening for a Championship club.

No chance he is on that much. Fernandes has openly stated himself that our highest earner is on £60k per week - which I would imagine Cesar would be one of.

Agree with the sentiment of the post though; we must be the highest paying club, athough I reckon we would be surprised at some of the other recently releagted side's wage bills n all. Plus teams like Leicester splash the cash a bit.

True- other teams will have some very high earners but still won't come close to us.

Saw the 100k figure from Tancredi Palmeri, who is always very very clued up when it comes to the ins and outs of transfers. I'd be shocked if he was on 100k, but still think his wages wouldn't be that far off.

Learning from the mistakes and fixing the problems is a good job. The clearout will take time. I am happy about what has been done since the begining of the season in terms of the signings as well. Dunne and O'Neil are on one year contract not 3-4 years like before.
