No wonder he signed for them to be fair, they offered him a 3-year deal! 3 years on £50k-ish a week = JESUS.

No surprise as he was never going to join at Championship club at this time of his career with the World Cup coming up and his age. Less playing time for Taarbs?

Harry should stop chasing players who are in his fantasy football team as they are not going to choose us. Go for more realistic targets who are on the up.

Good, wouldn't have been our best midfielder anyway, so no loss.

Thought he was good enough for Chelsea once, only to realise that he was nothing other than a squad player.

Perhaps Harry can now stop wasting time on overpaid and overrated people like him and get on with strengthening the areas that need it.

Decent signing for Fulham but three years at his age is a long deal and in fairness to him if someone if offering him that then he would be mental not to accept.

In a strange way im glad he has not come as to me it again demonstrates that we have learnt our lesson. Last season we were the side offering 33 (in two months) year olds long contracts on big wages. Im happy we offered him a deal and appear not to have changed it to try and secure him.

The only thing I would change is that we tell these players you have a deadline to sign or we looking elsewhere

Glad we missed out, well past his best and if the figures above are correct a total cost of around 12 million over his contract period is simply stupid. Thought they might struggle this year anyway and there performance Saturday and signings to date suggest they may well do so.

A 3 year contract at his age and with his injury record? Fulham must be mad.

He defo would have improved the strength in depth of our side - but not by enough to justify that!
