I can't help thinking that harry had no intention of signing him, it was all a game to help Levy to get rid of him in exchange for selling/loaning us townsend. Harry is a good wheeler-dealer and wouldn't put it past him
Harry is smart... I hope we bring in the right players and not just to make up the numbers.

no harry is desperate for any reunion he can sort out, the man can't help himself
but who needs parker when we've got joey?! sign a defender + attacker, we've got enough CMs
would rather keep Barton, Faurlin, Henry, Jenas & O'Neil as midfield options and as said, use the money towards buying a centre forward, centre back & winger instead.
QPR have funds available from the transfer and loan fees for Samba, Mackie, Remy and whatever else they may get or save in wages from Taarabt, Mbia, Diakite, Granero, Cisse, Campbell, Bothroyd, Bosingwa & Ferdinand etc.
Harry has always been good in the transfer market. I'm happy with the players he has brought in this window, none of whom where particularly exciting names. He knows we need strikers and cover on the left, reckon we will end up with a striker, a left winger and a left back, i'll be happy with that.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
