  • Tommy Hitchcock

Should not and Will not start any games this season...

Unless we are VERY short again...

The fact is, yes he took his goal well and he was in the right position... But he isnt suddenly god because of it.

Im proper pleased to see a youth player come on and score, but sadly I would still prefer Bobby up top..

I also think if we sign 1/2 more strikers then his chances will be limited even further..

Starting Tommy up front would be a very silly decision IMO...

Agree starting him will detroy him. We can still keep him on the bench during the injury of key strikers and bring him in the 2nd half.

Yep - Give him a run out when short.

But he isnt a Zaha, Bale etc... and therefore starting him wont be the best thing for us or him.

Happy for the lad. When we signed him, people were up in arms. "Only signed cos of his dad" etc. Short memories...!

I thought it had always been far too positive from most Rangers fans.. Typical. There's always one.

Give the kid a break. You dont sound THAT happy that he scored.

Start him up top for the Swindon game.

Being the miserable ba$tard that I am, really can't see the point in this thread.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Spot on Matty.. I kind of expected a negative thread from someone on it though.

Has anyone even suggested he will be a starter from now on?

                    Hold up...

                    1. How is this thread harsh on him West London? - I've read a lot of posts saying he should start?
                    2. Matty - Again I see a lot of people moaning and smashing into Bobby, now saying they would like Tommy to start because of his debut goal. - My thread was against it

The point is - I am delighted for the club, him and his family... BUT I dont think right for him to start.

As usual, its no surprise that the usual people would this thread MORE pointless than talking about Non QPR stuff...

There was me thinking this was to discuss QPR related topics.

How about giving Bobby a break btw... oh wait...

What I did say was, I dont feel he should start this season unless very short again...

I said he tooks his go well etc and I am proper happy for him and the club...

                        Good Good.

In that case, maybe a few of us have read the OP wrong by thinking its negative.

                          Its not negative at all..

At times I would rather see a young hungry youth player start up top for us.. As sometimes its frustrating to see no movement from our strikers..

But sadly IMO we dont have the quality in our youth for them to make a big difference.

Like it or not Bobby still offers more..

I was over the moon seeing him get a chance, and boy was I jealous when he scored. Its a dream for anyone...

Fair play to him!! Took his chance when given it!!!

Am not really sure how you can say that without seeing the Hitchcock lad start a game.

I saw him for the youth team, thought he played a blinder.

He's the type of striker who just knows when to be in the right place.

Personally though, I dont think he would be good enough to begin starting....

Just my opinion, Obviously I could be well wrong.

Think he would be better off joining a good league one club and seeing how he got on there...
