Like Baird (whatever happened to him?) he doesn't score many but when he does they're crackers. Another piece in the jigsaw. He's on about 25k at Leicester though so I hope he's taking a wage drop coming here

He was quite impressing against us a couple of years ago with Forest. Haven't seen him since.

Looks like they thought he was decent enough in their first two games:

                "getting back to his best"

Edit: Actually here some didn't rate his Leeds performance..

Schmeichel - 6.5 - Commanding enough, kicking crap and pointless though. Didn't really have to make a save. Moore - 7 - Solid enough. Morgan - 7- The same, we weren't really tested though. Whitbread - 4 - He's shockingly slow and cumbersome, rubbish on the ball too. Annoying player to watch. RDL ...

Don't rate Konchesky at all, not good enough for us imo, maybe 10 years ago! But certainly not now!..

Let's not sign anybody, they're all useless anyway; why don't we just press gang a few likely looking lads from any high street in London and secretly train them in to be geniuses, save a lot of doolah that way.

                              BBC - Konchesky

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has confirmed that left-back Paul Konchesky is on the verge of leaving the King Power Stadium.
The 32-year-old was left out of the squad for Saturday's win at Derby.
In recent weeks, the former England international has been linked with a move to Queens Park Rangers.

"I thought it was in the best interests of the player and ourselves that he was omitted from the squad," Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester.
"There has been speculation about potential moves away, but I can say he is still our player and I will speak to Paul again on Monday."
Konchesky, who joined City from Liverpool in 2011, started the opening two Championship games for the Foxes before being left out of the East Midlands derby at Pride Park.
                              Remember Gillard!!

Weird seeing him with hair in that pic. Anyway not exciting news but if you are shopping at Lidl dont expect to get excited.

Hughes must have taken the blank cheque book when he left. Pity cos Harry could have used it well.
