  • One for the 'bring back Adel' brigade......

“Fulham is a very different club to QPR,” Taarabt claimed. “There are so many players here who have been here a long time — four or five years — and it’s more of a family club. Everyone is friends with each other. You sense it as soon as you walk in. Last year, QPR signed 12 players and there were many strangers. It was difficult." Taarabt added: “Here, there’s more of a team spirit. I’ve only been at Fulham a few weeks, but everyone has made me welcome. It’s not just about the players, but the backroom staff. Everyone at the club is so friendly. "It’s one big happy family. That’s why people like to stay here, and it’s known as a friendly club for a good reason."

    So was he wrong then?

No he wasn't. We had too many players through the door in too short succession I think that's been universally accepted. But go ahead & have an unnecessary dig anyway. So negative!!!

Nothing wrong with what he said at least regarding QPR last season. The point he is trying to make is stability.
          QPR fan since1987

Shouldn't big up your new club by dissing your old. Especially when on loan. He hasn't dissed the players, but the club. why mention backroom staff??

But he wasn't 'dissing' he was making an observation?

Perhaps you're right, Jimmy. I don't want Adel back, but I like the fella. Just thought I'd bring the quote to folk's attention.

Fair cop. I think we will all be keeping an eye on how he does there. Tbh, can't see him ever pulling on the Rs shirt again now.

Hilarious! Adel is one of the main reasons that we didn't have any togetherness and he's one of our longest serving players!

If you read Warnocks book and the amount of special favours its no wonder massive divides started to build.

Sorry but mentally Adel is a joke, cracking player though.

This. There may well have been problems outside of Adel's control but you don't improve things by throwing your teddy out and sacking off training when you feel like it.

Fair play 77. I think our relationship with Adel is over. Great on his day but too few & far between & way to much baggage. Lets hope he has a decent season so we can cash in.

Like we never thought Barton wouldn't. You never know Matty. Things can change. I will not be suprised If Taarabt have a row with Fulham soon.

Good point. And, having always liked Joey, I'm presently hero worshipping him.....

Havent missed him at all so far this season, in fact the team spirit that is being built without him around is exactly what he's praising at fulham.
Wonder if divides will be created there soon?
