Firstly, I don't want to knock him before he even gets a chance.

However, I was surprised that he was signed on a 3 year deal.

So far he has only started one league game (Forest) and didn't look too impressive to be honest. But that was his 1st game at this level, so it was always going to be difficult.

Unfortunately, he was subbed before Buzsaky got on the pitch. I really think he would have scored the heading chance HH missed.

Pellicori has done reasonably well in the friendlies and against Exeter, so perhaps he will score if he gets the playing time, preferably alongside another striker.

Scored a couple in pre-season. Scored v Exeter. Had a bad game v Forest (too similar to Helguson alongside him) and now scored in a reserve game.

You've got to judge him on his strengths and in time, not get on his back because we were disappointed with our imports last year.

        Problem is this.

most fans have seen him play one game, in which the whole team did not play that well.

He along with Routledge are top scorers in the games played so far including friendlies and reserves.

problem is, fans jump on the bandwagon. Pellicori came on aganst Bristol City and done well and fans said so. The next game at home, where most fans saw him play, then throw a negative slant on it and hey presto, he is s.hite.

Never thought he would be scoring goals for fun, but he is better than De Carmine and gives the team a different dimension. Most fans have given him 60 minutes against forest and written him off, thats not fair. Then, again that QPR fans for you, we did the same to Furlong.

Well, let's hope that like Furlong, he soon wins the doubters over with his scoring exploits.

5 games so far this season. Pellicori hasn't yet started. How can anyone possibly write him off when he hasn't started any games? I saw Les Ferdinand's first few games for Rangers and thought he was nothing special. Gerry gave him all the time in the world, sent him out on loan and he came good at the relatively late age of 24. Some of you would have murdered him before he warmed the bench. What about Devon White?! We all thought Gerry was mad the first few games but he was effective and scored goals. Paul Furlong anyone? Mick Leach? Dennis Bailey? I can understand people wondering about the relative merits of HH or PA after a season or so but leave Pellicori alone until he has started 5 games, that's all I ask.
