    Pellicori...

Who was it that wanted him at the club???

And how long is his contract??

Does anyone think he will really make any impact?? Im not writing the guy off, im just wondering what everyone thinks after a summer of, is it on, is it off, has he signed, who is he, is he any good.

I kept high hopes he might do well but imo he is behind Simpson, taarabt, and HH in the pecking order.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

    And behind Agyemang.

As many said at the time. Poor signing. On many levels

Queens Park Rangers have handed a three-year contract to Italian striker Alessandro Pellicori after he impressed while on trial at Loftus Road.

The 28-year-old has played in Serie A with Lecce earlier on in his career, but more recently was on the books of Avellino.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club's official website: "Alessandro has done well with us during his trial period.

"He's a natural goalscorer and we're delighted to add him to the already healthy attacking options we have at our disposal.

"He'll take time to settle over here, but we're really excited by his arrival."

It's a good question. Only time will tell. A mate of mine supports the club he used to play for and said he is surprised that we bought him considering we want promotion. Said he doesn't run around too much. Should score a few goals for us, but won't be the 15 - 20 goals a season man we're after. Nice to see our scouting system is coming up trumps again. But as I said before only time will tell.

Pete - Just because he was a free signing, does not mean he is any good and if he is not any good, his wages over 3 years could have gone to someone who is.

Also, how can you find out if their were any agents fee's involved in this transfer ?

                    when

when you look at the signing of helgerson, ayegemang.pelecorri, simpson, tarrabat, vin e not one of these players can hit double figures this season
but blackstock the one player who will was booted out
EVERYONE KNOWS I LOVE GI GI
BUT IF THIS DREAM ALL COMES TO NOTHING IT WILL BE THE INABILITY TO FIND A COUPLE OF GOOD STRIKERS
why we cant sign hooper ill never know all the missed chances of the above six players will break routledges heart

Can I ask you Pete, why you justify or mock, in this case both, anything that seems to critisize part of the club?
                      Specifically transfer dealings, incredibly annoying.
                      West London. Simple.

Im not doubting that for a minute, id like to point out this thread wasnt to have a go, nor was it to point a finger at gi gi.

I just find it odd we spend so much time to sign a man who honestly is a 5th choice striker. And yet we leave Hooper till the last day.

I mean i get it, we wait till last day, make a decent offer for hooper and hope they cave in and accept, but, so much time perhaps wasted on a man who will spend most of the season on the bench or in the reserves.

One of our most baffling signings, more so than Parejo in my eyes as he might have turned out brilliantly, but even the pelican's fan club (Pete) admits he is just a journeyman squad player who at 28 is hardly likely to improve too much. Why sign a player who is worse than you already have in an area which cries out for improvement? Bonkers signing, but then we are often a bonkers club.
