  • harry must act now re: strikers

Harry has said we must have 4,and of course he is right especially as bob and andy are always injured so who is is it going to be,and it WON'T be Dafoe.

According to the papers, Defoe was gonna speak to Hodgson yesterday to see if dropping a league lower would affect his chances in being called up.
But, there is no way we would get Defoe as there would be so many Prem Clubs jumping at the chance to sign him, not to mention European Clubs.
Personally, I think he will end up at Liverpool.

qpr have Austin, and injury prone Johnson and a clapped out Zamora. Redknapp needs to sign two more strikers and it wont be Defoe and probably not even Zapata.
i wonder if he will bid for Odemwinge.

Bit strange that Harry no longer wants Odemwingie.
Wanted him in Jan, and even said that he felt sorry for him as he didn't get the move.
We wanted him in the Prem, but now the interest has cooled!!

Odemwingie is available for £1.5million, and would be lethal upfront with Austin.

1.5 million, better than paying 6 million for a player we've never seen play.

Cardiff are rekindling interest in West Bromwich Albion winger Peter Odemwingie. Odemwingie's proposed move to Al Nasr is reportedly off, with the Dubai side pulling out of the deal after growing frustrated with Albion's reluctance to meet despite two bids being submitted for the striker.

I think the Club might be waiting to see it a Premier side is interest (which he would probably prefer) and then step in if A) another striker has not signed or B) he hasn't gone to a Premier side.

Been saying this too. With the records BZ and AJ have, I doubt they'll play 46 league games between them this season.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I think this will be a late transfer day deadline deal if nobody else takes him

Looks now as if we need 2 new strikers,AJ lasted 3 games, now out for 6 weeks,Zamora is an accident waiting to happen, leaving just Austin,Harry MUST act fast, stop wasting time on un realistic targets ( Dafoe) and get in 2 strikers who want to come here

Where did you get 6 weeks for AJ? Shouldn't be out that long for a groin strain.

Another deadline day rush then. If Zamora starts tomorrow I'll be gutted. Would rather play SWP Austin & Hoilett as an attacking 3. Zamora is a waste of space.
