According to the papers, Defoe was gonna speak to Hodgson yesterday to see if dropping a league lower would affect his chances in being called up.
But, there is no way we would get Defoe as there would be so many Prem Clubs jumping at the chance to sign him, not to mention European Clubs.
Personally, I think he will end up at Liverpool.

Cardiff are rekindling interest in West Bromwich Albion winger Peter Odemwingie. Odemwingie's proposed move to Al Nasr is reportedly off, with the Dubai side pulling out of the deal after growing frustrated with Albion's reluctance to meet despite two bids being submitted for the striker.
I think the Club might be waiting to see it a Premier side is interest (which he would probably prefer) and then step in if A) another striker has not signed or B) he hasn't gone to a Premier side.

i wonder if he will bid for Odemwinge.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
