Will we consider going back for Odemwingie ? If not, what's changed ? HR was very keen before. And the price has gone down from £3m+ to £1.5m. Seems a no brainer, unless the player had indicated he doesn't want Championship football.
Thought this the other day. Reckon if he's still at WBA at the end of the window we'll go after him.
AJ - Out for how long ?
Townsend - Have we bid ? Are we close to Spuds valuation ? Are they keen on Cesar ?
Faurlin - Is he fit ?
Zapata/Defoe - Does 'Arry have other Striker options in the fire seeing as he's so keen to have 4 of them (or 5 with AJ & BZ injury record)
Hoilett - Who's asking after him ? Stoke ? In which case is Crouch an option ?
Assaidi - Are we still looking to bring the Liverpool winger in on loan ?
Baird - Is he joining us perm ? Still training with us ? Why does it take so long to sign up a free agent ?
Konchesky - any truth in that rumour ?
Harry McGuire (Sheff Utd) - 20 year old CB - Are we interested ?
press are not botherd about these questions , not when they can listen to HR usual claptrap
How did you deduce that? Doesn't say that in the above resume........it implies it could go either way, it's up to the player!!!
watching it on ustream, i thought arry sounded very downbeat about it. we've made him a good offer but it's up to him now etc... and like qpr says above, then arry said: "we'd have loved him to have come here" could have been a slip of the tongue, but sounded like he didn't think it was going to happen.

fair enough if you watched it.....but still think people read too deeply into things and analyse things too much, and consequently get the wrong end of the stick..........imo!
Other than money, I can't see any reasons why he would choose us over Fulham.
He's a professional footballer, when he retires in the very near future, he should want as many winners medals to look back on, as possible.
The chances of getting a Championship winners medal with QPR, would be very good.
The chances of getting naff all at the Fools, even better. The race to 40 points and safety, is all that club is about nowadays. Yes, you get to play against ManUre, Liverfool, ArseAnal, yada, yada, yada, but so what? Didn't he do that last season, and even with Spurs, still has naff all to show for it?
Putting aside my obvious bias for a minute, I know I would like as many winners medals to show the grandkids, as possible.

Couldn't agree more with you there as it happens......spot on post! Especially the more chance of getting a medal with us than Fulham this season bit!

from what arry said, this seems to be the jist of how we're selling the club to parker - more feeling of accomplishment if he can start winning games regularly with qpr and help the team get promoted in comparison to the possibility of a battle to stay up at the fools with maybe a shortish cup.
If fulham make the same offer he will go to them. He did this to us 2 years ago as well. To be fair if he wants to go to Brazil he will have to play regularly in the PRem so i think he will join Fulham.

There surely has to be more for a professional footballer to aim for in their career, other than playing as many games in the premier league as possible, hoping thereby to pick up the odd cap playing for a mediocre England team.

Basically he has an offer and a good one from QPR. If he wanted to sign he would. Seems he is waiting for other offers to look at his options and don't blame him for that. If he has been made a concrete offer though he clearly is waiting for something else or he would sign for QPR.

Would be very surprised if Parker is anywhere near Brazil next summer.
Personally, were I him, I would prefer to be at home watching, what will no doubt be, another poor, mediocre, England team failing miserably at a major finals, whilst clutching my Championship winners medal, and looking forward to QPR's return to the premier league.
As it is, you are probably bang on the money, and Parker will opt to help Foolham survive yet another season in the prem, and get himself involved in yet another embarrassing showing from England in a World Cup Finals.
Just to clarify - Harry didn't say we'd of loved him to come here - he said " we have made him a very good offer, the chairman is dealing with it and that the squad is progressing really nicely and we would love Scott to be here". Nothing like we'd of loved here which gives the impression he has said no!! Harry made it clear it's up to Scott and he's still deciding and was optimistic about it!!
