Get facts straight about Mackie - he wanted to play week in week out and that was not going to happen. He left to play first team football rather than sit on the bench and pick up his wage. It makes me laugh - you all slate players that want to be a bit part and "rob a living" by sitting on the bench and then when they leave for regular football it's because they didn't want to play for the Club anymore. We're now left with Zamora who spends 99.9% of the game on the edge of the box with his back to the goal, holding his hip!

Why are we making this so difficult? Have a look at last seasons league one top scorers, choose one to bring in and then play him as an understudy coming off the bench or starting when required. Said player will have the desire and hunger to prove himself and we've solved our problem in an inexpensive way. Alternatively give a youngster a chance.

Down to 1 and a turd strikers now!
I can understand releasing Cisse and loaning out Remy & Taarabt who no longer wanted to stay, but why release Bothroyd, Campbell and sell Mackie who were all willing to stay, without getting replacements in first.
For a club that has just been relegated after a season QPR had, surely it must be important to hit the ground running in the following season and have a good start to the campaign.
QPR will probably fail to pick up 3 points at home tomorrow, to go with the 2 wasted lasted week (Ipswich have a very good record at QPR).
Yes, I know it is early in the season (it was the same this time last year, when many were predicting doom & gloom only to be told it's early days yet, the team will gel and improve). but this does not look very promising at the moment.
Zamora is barely even fit enough to be on the pitch, let alone be an effective striker; Johnson, as predicted lasted only a couple of games (less than last season), and so only Austin is left as a fit 1st team striker.
We can only hope that 2 new strikers will join soon.

Without searching, I don't think he played in those games, but did play against Walsall in the cup.
